The Konica KM1024 MHB 14PL UV printhead is a robust, shear-mode piezo on-demand printhead that can be used in both binary and 8-level greyscale modes, offering variable drop size and higher print quality without the need for additional printheads. The Konica KM1024 MHB 14PL UV printhead is a significant improvement over the KM512 printhead series, offering twice the print width and twice the greyscale levels. Konica Minolta's piezo on-demand inkjet heads operate at lower voltages than other inkjet heads, and the new actuator used in the KM1024 further reduces power consumption. The Konica KM1024MHB/14PL UV printhead has 1024 nozzles with a droplet size of 14 pl and a native resolution of 360 dpi. The printhead has a built-in heater, making it ideal for UV inks, but also suitable for solvent inks. This is an original Konica print head and includes the head ID and the necessary waveform information.
