Toshiba CA4W Printhead
This Toshiba TEC CA4W on-demand piezoelectric inkjet printhead is designed for industrial applications requiring high print quality. Unlike conventional binary printheads, this greyscale printhead technology is capable of ejecting multiple droplets within a dot, allowing an image to have 16 shades of grey as each dot is created by a minimum of 6 picolitres to a maximum of 90 picolitres of ink.
Suitable for UV-curable and oil-based inks, the Toshiba TEC CA4W has 2 ink inlets (which can be easily removed for replacement with a single ink inlet assembly) and a chassis with a built-in water channel and complete seal for easy temperature control. This is a genuine Toshiba printhead. It comes with a one-year warranty. The jig tools used to calibrate and install this head are available as related products.
