The Konica Minolta KM1024 SHB print head is a robust piezo on-demand print head that can be used in both binary and 8-level greyscale modes, providing variable drop size and higher print quality without the need for additional print heads. The Konica Minolta KM1024 SHB print head is a significant improvement over the KM512 print head series, offering twice the print width and twice the grey scale levels. Konica Minolta's piezo on-demand inkjet heads operate at lower voltages than other inkjet heads, and the new actuator used in the KM1024 further reduces power consumption. The Konica Minolta KM1024 SHB printhead has 1024 nozzles with a droplet size of 6 picolitres and a native resolution of 360 dpi. The print head has a built-in heater, making it ideal for UV inks, but also suitable for solvent inks. This printhead is also known as Konica Minolta KM1024 SHB.
